'Singam 2' team is Cape Town bound

 

The 'Singam 2' team led by director Hari will be off to Cape Town in South Africa, where some important scenes and song sequences will be shot.

It is to be noted that a Nigerian actor, who was part of some Hollywood flicks, has been roped in to play one of the baddies of this sequel to 'Singam'.

"Stunt scenes featuring Suriya and the foreign actor will be shot in Cape Town. Also, songs on the lead pair (Suriya and Anushka Shetty) will be canned there," sources maintain.

Devi Sri Prasad has recently recorded a couple of songs for the movie. Hansika Motwani, Vivek and Santhanam are also there in 'Singam 2', which is expected to hit the screens early 2013.

The Tamil action-masala film is back with it sequel. Director Hari has announced that his next film will be Singam 2, a sequel to his earlier hit Singam

Kollywood flick Singam was a blockbuster at the box office. Now Hari the director has announced the sequel of the film starring Suriya in the lead. Besides Suriya the director is repeating Anushka Shetty as well. The new addition to the cast is Hansika Motwani. According to rumours, the story for Singam 2 will start from where the first part ended. Vivek, Vijayakumar, Radharavi, Nasser and Rahman will have crucial roles in Singam 2. Shooting for the film will begin once Suriya completes his upcoming film Maatraan, directed by K V Anand.
The shooting will take place in Chennai, Hyderabad, Tuticorin and Tirunelveli. And, for the first time in his career, Hari will shoot this film in foreign locations, including South Africa and Kenya. Music for Singam 2 will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Now that Suriya is free from 'Maattrraan', which demanded huge work from him since it is about conjoined twins, the actor is ready to his commence his next.

As announced earlier, his immediate project will be 'Singam 2', a sequel to his earlier hit 'Singam'. Hari himself will wield the megaphone, with Anushka as the leading lady.

But there is one more heroine too, and she is the hot and happening Hansika Motwani. "Shooting for Singam 2 will commence soon and composing of songs have started already," sources close to the unit said.

Confirming this, music composer Devi Sri Prasad wrote on his microblogging page, "Today in composing for Singham-2 with director Hari sir and Lyricist Viveka sir..!"

He added: "Having fun in the studio composing for Singam 2. Suriya came and spent some time. We all had a great time!"

 

Singam 2 Audition Completed!

 

Director Hari conducted an audition for character artists for his upcoming movie Singam 2 with Surya. Singam 2 is a sequel to the the box office blockbuster movie Singam.

Singam 2 is produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja in association with Reliance Big Pictures and it will distributed by Sun Pictures.

Singam 2 shooting will be started once surya completes KV Anand’s Maatran.
